My guess

Dublin 17th
20th or 21th Cardiff/London or Southampton
23th or 24th or 25th Cardiff/London or Southampton
26th or 27th or 28th or 29th Edinburgh
2th Manchester
5th Manchester 2
9th Birmingham or No show or something else
12th Birmingham or No show or something else
16th Birmingham or No show or something else
19th Twickenham
23th Twickenham 2 (or London Stadium)
26th Marseille
30th Berlin/Warsau
3th of 4th Warsau or Unknown
7th Unknown or no show

So I think there will be 14, assuming they have 6/7 days off between Manchester and Twickenham or do a private gig (wich they almost never do in Europe)

Berlin:
Olympiastadion: 8th July - Helene Fischer
Waldbühne: 5th July - Pearl Jam Waldbühne Shows

I think no Stones show at or around 5th July. June is possible.

The rumoured July 4th should be possible too. 3 days to build her stage should be enough.
it's difficould. She is huge in germany and will have her own stage. Stones need to tear theirs down before they can build theirs. I think 4 july is not possible.

Helene Fischer usually has only one or two days off between her shwos – thus there won't be any problems to build her stage rather quickly

Leave on July 6 and add Pearl Jam to the mix. Or even start on July 2 and add Nine Inch Nails. This could be the perfect week, when it comes to music.

That’s the one irix. Thanks for adding for me.

I actually saw 3 but none of them are in highly trafficked parts of the city, which you can tell by the surroundings of that one.

And the majority of people won’t know the relevance unfortunately.

Tell the Croke Park residents there's No Stopping the Stones!

Yeeeeaaah, that's so cool! Luckily the friend who wants to join me this summer for a Stones show lives in Berlin, so no hotel worries for me spinning smiley sticking its tongue out

Now it will be just the question: Waldbühne or Olympia Stadium? I would prefer the first.

Pal of mine saw a heap of 'em this morning. Did you take that in The Liberties?

Maybe a trifle courageous to put up posters in advance of the Residents meeting? I'm quietly confident the gig'll go ahead, but that's still brave...

Berlin Olympia Stadium

It is a very nice stadium in which I have seen some shows already always being in the front of stage section which was perfect. Just don't want to know what the tickets there would cost for the Stones. All other places would be too far away for my taste.

Also reported (by Nate) sightings in London.. no pics to date though.

Trying to decipher if theres any method to the madness in terms of the roll-out, i.e. in order of appearance.. or first group of shows. Looks like a pretty solid.. NO at this point..

Just as an aside, the Pearl Jam Waldbühne show is a sellout.

Yep. That’s where the were.

I didn’t see any closer to the city centre than Smithfield so they’re not risking going too close to Croke Park anyway

Discussed a million times no doubt..
But, are there any viable options/alternatives to Croke Park in Dublin?

Aviva Stadium

The Aviva Stadium holds about 52,000 for rugby/football and a bit less for concerts. The nearby RDS Showgrounds holds about 38,000 for concerts.

There would be no issues in terms of availability or licence approval that I can see staging a show at either venue.

.

Doubt that 65,000 capacity is accurate. No one has ever pulled in more than about 50,000 for a gig there. That figure would be much more realistic.

It holds 30,000 less than Croke Park. Still big enough - and a better venue for a stadium show, to be honest.

Why is the Aviva better than Croke park?

I have been to the Aviva but not Croke.

Just in case I'm the only person who's noticed, Bjornulf's updated his Tour rumours page, naming the tour, adding the Berlin rumour plus a few pretty pictures of tour posters...
