Everyone is an asterisk after EP; its just the way it is. Like him, love him, hate him, worship him, deride him, slander his name all over the place...for whichever and whatever multitude of reasons, EP the high water mark again and again all over the place. Not really fair to compare such diverse great bands...It's importnat to remember, i think, that Mick was about ten when EP hit hard...Jags won't admit it, but there was no way he wasn't standing in the mirror with a hairbrush for a mike and doin' that hip shake along with every other kid his age in the entire world.

I won't even mention the jumpsuits or eye makeup. oops...

I remember reading an interview with Jagger in which he said he regretted not taking advantage of an opportunity to meet Elvis.
