I keep hoping for a new biography of Stu..

which may never be written.. but it should be, if possible. don't know if he was keen on diaries and record keeping, like Bill..

but his place in the band and their history is very large..

almost a contradiction, or disconnect, with the general knowledge of Stu most people have, not here on the board, but in general.

I mean, the Stones are a worldwide phenomenon..

and Stu was crucial to the beginning of that. And most people don't know who he was, that otherwise know and enjoy the Stones..

You are surely missed Ian. have a great one in the heavens. Wish you would be playing with the Stones at the upcoming european Gigs.
