The Rolling Stones on the Eamonn Andrews ABC Weekend TV show from February 6th 1966. Jagger talks about the lyrics to their new single (19th Nervous Breakdown) then the band perform the song on the show. It's a live vocal from Jagger and Richards to a pre-prepared backing track which is different to the record.

Sure would be nice to find a clip from the band's February 1967 appearance on this show where they supposedly did She Smiled Sweetly.

Thanks for posting. I have a vague memory of this - I was 13 at the time!Eamon Andrews was a big start at the time - an important gig for all of them.

Ha! I remember it, too. It was both surprising and exciting to see them in his show.

I should add that it's surprising and exciting to see it again, so thanks for posting, bv. smileys with beer

Only Mick was on The Eamonn Andrews Show in 1967. The performance of "She Smiled Sweetly" is a solo performance with Mick sitting at the organ.

nice one; harmonies are so good! i like the rhythm guitar on the backing track a lot too; not sure if it's K or b or the weave. guitars sooo good! mick is on! not a scream or shout but it cuts thru with such power and attitude.
thanks for this. thumbs up
