How Can I Stop/Sleep Tonight

I'll take either of these over every other ballad ever done by the Stones.

Peter, I would classify Loving Cup as a ballad. It's one of the most heartfelt songs I've heard from the Stones. The lyrics are priceless... give me a little drink from your loving cup! It has ballad written all over it. Maybe it ain't a ballad to some of my friends, but they don't know music anyway.

I also think She Smiled Sweetly is a great ballad from the sixties.

Loving Cup is one of my fav´s all-times, all-categories.
I admit I have difficulties defining a ballad; always had.

Oh wait I changed my mind, although No Expectaions is better in the long run, the best, I choose Memory MOtel. It's the one I listen to mostly.

Wild Horses. I like Moonlight Mile even more, but last time I called it a ballad I got dissed, so I better go for WH
