The BYRDS come to mind-- McGuinn, Crosby and Hillman could do it-- and probably do a great job at it as well--- M cguinn still is an amazing guitar player

Oasis will definitely reform at some point. They're just too young and were too big enough not too. IMO.

Which line-up?

Definitely Maybe and Morning Glory lineup. Obvs!

True, but at least they did do it. Some of the bands listed have gotten back together, even multiple times in the case of Simon And Garfunkel. Hence why I'm not listing KISS and those things. Would be cool if some of those happened again, but at least VU got back together at all. Its not like there was really "unfinished business" there or stuff like Talking Heads.

Most of them have, and also the list of possibilities is growing smaller.

2 of my favorites from 20+ years ago who have yet to reunite and probably never will.

Grotus
Geraldine Fibbers

some version of The Byrds is still physically possible.

and from a few years ago I thought Black Flamingo was the best LA band of the 21st Century.

and whatever led to Sean Wheeler & Zander Schloss splitting up will hopefully someday be resolved.

Yes, their 2 best albums IMHO, however Gem is a much more versatile guitarist so I don't know if Bonehead could handle some of the later material. I got an idea, have both on stage, after all when Steve came back to the E Street band, they kept Nils.....

Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young should reunite and rage against the US-government. The album would be an instant classic.cool smiley

Would be cool, but apparently it seems it'll never happen:

"In December 2015, Noddy Holder told the UK's Daily Mail that his biggest regret was that:

"It really saddens me that the four guys who were in Slade can't get together now and sit round the dinner table. Five years ago I got the four of us together so we could air our grievances face-to-face, but it was so painful I'd never want to repeat it. I was shocked.""

Jeff, Rod and Ronnie are still alive and well.
Kenney Jones fits in for the drummer job I think.

Well, would like to see the Kinks reunite too.
