Yes, indeed a great setlist apart from Live With Me. I hate this song. It just doesn't work neither in the studio nor live. Totally boring tune...

I'd love to hear ADTL, MR, & LWM, but the set seems less chronologically representive than the earlier shows, much more '60s-theme plus new material. Take out Out Of Control (which was fabulous, dynamic & reps the jazz/funk side of the Stones at their best), YGMR (I like, some don't, strong version, & somewhat rearranged) -2 out of 3 '90s songs in the set at shows thus far, She's So Cold, from the '80s, "Heartbreaker" ("mid" seventies, bridging the EOMS thru SG era), and imo it skews more '60s/00s, which is not a trend I'd like to continue, as none of the additions (and they may be terrific) could to be described as neglected gems...Sometimes a couple songs change the basic tone of a set. PS how can you hate Live w/Me?

"Live with me" is definitely and undisputably one of the very best masterpieces in rock history, ... and I haven´t commented on its music yet! I really am speechless when I see people on this board, who - in the very moment when the band is adding some colour to the always-the-same-setlist - start COMPLAINING about this fact, only because one particular song is not to their (odd) taste.

Do the girls still scream, when you perform on stage? KR: Not on stage, but when I perform, yeah.

Re: Moncton Setlist

Great. Now we are down to 20 songs. With the high ticket prices they should be required to tell you how many songs you are paying to see.At this rate,by the time I see them again in N.C. the set will be down to 17 songs.

Great set list for the big crowd show. Its a good sign for Tuesday.

festival show (which usually means a shortened set), in front of an audience many of whom wouldnt have seen the band before and in a part of the continent that they never play. I'm not even sure that there was a b-stage at this show.

Taking all that into account, thats not a bad setlist. I just hope that 20 songs isnt the norm from now on.

Re: Moncton Setlist

I'd just like to have a better idea of what I'm paying for.

ruby, all down the line, paint it black, live with me, and sympathy... and closing with satisfaction? sounds cool to me...

take out Miss you and Honky Tonk...replace with Sway or Loving Cup or Slave or CYMK and this was one for the ages...

Rambler? Hope they keep that around! Chicago this coming Saturday... here's to hoping

Re: Moncton Setlist

Hard to believe that they found a way to make the setlist seem more perfuntory and rote, but they did...

"Out of Control" was such a great choice. And the encores were at least interesting in the placement of the tunes.

They must be bored to tears of doing this batch of songs...

That's exactly what I was kidding some days before. Sooner or later they will drop down from 22 songs. At least 2 more songs they can throw in and out sad smiley

(IMO = in my opinion, IMHO = in my humble opinion)

Shidoobee posted a correction to the set list order. I'm not sure if it has been posted in other threads here, but here it is. As far as the number of songs, I think the Stones are targeting a two-hour show. I predicted over a week ago that if they through in a long song like Midnight Rambler, the count would drop by one. I think it's more about the time than the number of songs.
My only comment on the set list is that the Stones don't seem to realize how good Back of My Hand is and they don't seem to realize how weak Oh No, Not You Again Is. The former should be in every show, and the latter should be shelved.

1. Start Me Up
2. It's Only Rock and Roll
3. Live With Me
4. Tumbling Dice
5. Rough Justice
6. Ruby Tuesday
7. YCAGWYW
8. All Down the Line
9. Night Time
10. The Worst
11. Infamy
12. Miss You
13. Oh No, Not You Again
14. Midnight Rambler
15. Honkey Tonk Women
16. Sympathy for the Devil
17. Paint it Black
18. Jumping Jack Flash
19. Brown Sugar
20. Satisfaction (encore)
