I was but a child of 5 when I first heard Satisfaction on my older sister's transistor radio. The sounds of The Rolling Stones have fascinated me ever since. And it didn't take long for me to learn that what was for me the most compelling and recognizable element of that sound - apart from Mick's voice - was the sound of Keith Richards guitar. Ya Ya's cemented my addiction to all things Keith once and forever. Keith's sound compelled me to become both an avid rock fan and to pick up the guitar myself. We've all been on a similar journey so I won't recount every detail from those times up until today. That Keith Richards is still performing today is simply amazing. I just would want to thank him for the decades of great music and good times. One of my fondest memories was celebrating Keith's birthday in 1988 as he and the Winos played the Meadowlands in New Jersey. He did Run Run Rudolph with Johnnie Johnson guesting. A great show. Happy Birthday Keith. Your music will truly live forever!
