Hoping for Dylan's Blood on the Tracks official Bootleg Series release which has been rumoured off and on for years...will 2017 finally be the year for it?

Also Jimmy Page solo album, but not holding my breath -same with Roger Waters.
A new Charlatans (UK) album would be nice, as would a new Keith solo album...

Obviously hoping for that album of new Stones originals and hoping Dylan has gotten his Sinatra jones fixed for a while and puts out a new originals album also.

Dylan: album of new material, preferably written by him.

Stones: album of new material, but would settle for a second vol of blues

Mick Jagger: reissue of Wandering Spirit in Deluxe format, with The Red Devils blues session cleaned up and properly issued on Disc 2

Jerry Lee Lewis: a pure country album without guests, preferably produced by T Bone Burnett

John Prine: a new album of Prine-written material, and no country covers.

Elvis Presley: unreleased sessions without orchestration.

Elvis Costello: a new album

Not really wishing for it, but out of curiosoity wondering if AC/DC will release anything in 2017.
And if so, will Axl be their singer?

*I haven't bought a new AC/DC album since Highway to Hell and that was a few months after Bon Scott died.

In no order & off the top of my head...

1. The Rolling Stones - Anything new, preferably original material
2. The Killers - Pretty much anything new OR concert recordings
3. Bruce Springsteen - Anything (Archive or new)
4. Paul McCartney - Studio album of original tracks

No proof that any of these will materialize (except for 1, 2, and maybe 3,) but hey- they're only wishes!

Good call, bob r. I would love a new Marty Stuart album. And of course a new Stones album. A new Booker T. album would be great, maybe a few songs with Steve Cropper.

Rhino Handmade had a Deluxe Edition of the J Geils Full House album planned that would have contained both complete shows that were recorded for the album but the band would not sign off to allow the release, They said adding the extra tracks changed the feel of the album and caused it to different from the way they intended. Unfortunately, it looks like the complete shows will not be released at least for now. It is a shame as there were a number of songs from the shows not included on the official release.
