Not a fan of either song. Comparing them is like measuring stool consistency.

Come on! Chuck Berry wrote hundreds of rock´n ´roll songs...and yes...Johnny B Goode and Carol and Johnny Bye bye and Respectable are rock´n ´roll songs...and if you play a blues...write a blues song...I mean...there are three chords...thousands sound the same from a distance...

"You Got Me Rocking" sounds way too generic.

Many elements of the song are borrowed .... not just from "When Love Comes to Town" either. "Rock 'n' Roll Pt.2" which is played over the Public Address systems at sporting events is another obvious one. There are others as well. I guess that it is the Stones putting their own spin on it.

I don't mind it once in a great while but, this is a song which the Stones heavily over-exposed in their live sets from 1994 to 2006 at the cost of better options .... some also from 'Voodoo Lounge'.

"I Go Wild" is better and more authentic than "You Got Me Rocking".
