There's still tickets available for both the upcoming LA Forum shows in March! Tickets should be super easy to get for the September shows.
I might try for the final night if I can get them 'reasonably' priced. Could be the last time, and I would like to bid him farewell!

According to the Wheres Eric website, the March dates are sold out!
Hence the return in September.
You would think these very short tours (x2) would be more physically taxing than a single eight concerts treck?

You'll enjoy yourself! Just out of MSG - a good night. And Gary Clrk Jr, one of the 2 opening acts, blew me away. Cheers!

Well, hopefully I will have a much different impression of Gary Clark Jr this time. I have seen him twice and was unimpressed both times. Found him quite boring actually, especially compared to someone like Bonamassa. Going next Sunday.

Did he do or say any sort of tribute to Chuck? Thats like the only thing I don't love about Clapton based off looking at the setlist, it always looks like exactly the same stuff. He rarely blows me away on paper.

In his 2015 RAH shows, just a few months after Jack Bruce's passing, EC did not say one word in tribute to Jack. Nor did he show up to either of the Jack Bruce memorial concerts that have been held.
He couldn't even do it for someone who pushed him and challenged him musically, he's not going to do it for his early influence.

Last time I saw him, it was at Royal Alber Hall, and the other musicians onstage with him really added a dimension to the show that would have been absent without those particular musicians (Derek Trucks, Doyle Bramhall and, later, Robert Cray among others). Hell of a show.
