The Who x 2 Paul McCartney X 2 Jeff Lynne's ELO The Bootleg Beatles 1 of the Macca gigs was Rock Werchter so I suppose I can add the 4 acts who did sets before him.
And last but not least, the excellent IORR Band at their debut gig in London, 24th September. Watching a band play a 2 hour set 20 minutes after meeting for the 1st time and pulling it off so well was something special.

Only arena show that appealed to be: Bruce Springsteen and The E-Street Band, playing The River, plus other hits and deep cuts
But GREAT small shows:
Peter Wolf Sunflower Bean (up and coming band from NYC - great trio) Charles Bradley Arcs (Dan Auerbach of Black Keys 'other' band - and much better live)
Surprisingly good show: Pretenders in a club in Buffalo. They had been touring with Stevie Nix in arenas. They had a night off from that tour so played in a small club in Buffalo. They seemed to love playing a club packed with their fans rather than being in the middle of a cavernous arena. Chrissie was in a great mood, as was Martin Chambers. My first time seeing them since 1982 and the original band. This version sounded as good, with great energy. Great show!
