I got this 2 cd release yesterday. Haven't played them yet, but I see no B side songs on the tracklists.

IGMOATD sounds really, really good, especially through 5.1 setup. Bass sound gets more clarity with this re-issue imo. Drums have some real snap. Of course this album just kills it anyway. One of my all time favorites.

I think anyone that buys this Rockin'Ronnie re-issue will be very pleased sound wise.

Pretty minimal packaging. The front cover art can be reversed to make it look like either album depending on your preference with original LP front/back art on front and inner back. Otherwise front is IGMOATD art and back is a photo of Now Look with a track listing for both LPs.

No bonus tracks. No claims or credit for remastering other than the words "original recording masters - limited edition". Sound seems a bit more punchy but things like drums on Big Bayou are still muffled.

There are NO new songs. Both CDs are same as the original LP releases.

What is the b side song?

I stand corrected. I mistakenly thought I Got a Feeling was a non-lp b side. It's on Now Look.

The only non album 'b' side is the single edit of "Breathe On Me" which was the flip of "I Can Feel The Fire". The full version was on "Now Look".

I love, love Ronnie Wood's solo albums. In all my Stones albums they are the most played ones nowadays.
But honestly: the first time I saw this thread I thought it was a joke. A Deluxe version of 'Now Look"??
Maybe a remix of "Gimme Some Neck", at best...
PS Another thread I thought was a put-on is the one re. a film about Darryl Jones.

Where can I find a version with 5.1 mix please? That would be really something.

A remix with the sounds of the 2 first albums should be a good thing!

Both of those albums have a killer mix already. The vinyl sounds fantastic. The old cds not so much.

What is the b side song?

The b-side is likely to be Breathe On Me which was b-side to I Can Feel The Fire. Slightly different version too.

Haven't seen it yet, but filstan got his set, and he said this:

«Yes, IGMOATD and Now Look. No bonus tracks. Liner notes speak of the singles released from both albums, but those recordings are not on the cds».

Doesn't sound like much of a Deluxe reissue then - just a pairing. I wonder what is Deluxe about it?

Apparently, a new mastering.

Perhaps they try to sell extra copies before a real deluxe release. sad smiley

FWIW I think this double album release sounds fantastic. Of course many people here already have both the CD's and original LP' as I do. I like these albums enough where I thought it worth the coin to buy this re-issue to see if they tweaked the sound for a better audio experience. To my ears they have achieved this goal making the purchase worth it for me. If you are like minded fans of these records you won't be disappointed.

Sure outtakes would be cool and would have been a nice add to increase demand. I always think we get spoon fed this material anyway. Please release this archival audio/video material though before we are all dead and gone.....

Outtakes from "I've got my own..." were already on "Now look", pehaps it is the reason why!
