On Stage/Free Drinks?

Are the drinks still free for the On Stage folks? I read that they were for both shows in Boston but I saw something posted on rs.com that they were not in Hartford. They still had a bar available but the beer was now $6 a cup. Can anyone who had On Stage for Hartford or Ottawa confirm?

Those Boston freaks just drank too much! Mick must have calculated this and said "Oh no, this costs way too much, two hundred dollars per show!"

I'm sure that's more or less controlled by the individual venue?

How is the stage set up and what type of tickets are there?, i.e. stage balcony, front rows, VIP and which are the best?

I had to pay $6 a beer On Stage. The cups were no lie about 4oz each. My buddy had no cash on him and keeps ordering them and I had to pay. They were like shot glasses.

Seems to be conflicting reports so I guess I don't know who or what to believe. Virgil states that the drinks were free in Hartford...chippy & gibb76 say they were not free. Any reports from Ottawa on the free drink issue?

I wish they were free or I should say my wallet wishes they were free.

I did meet someone in line that Ticketmaster lost their tickets at will call and waited for 2 1/2 hours for their tickets. I think he said they were lost. He then told me that they were going to comp all of his drinks.

I have to apologize for my earlier post about free drinks in Hartford. I just called my buddies wife she clarified the situation for me. For some reason Security conficated her pocket book she's not sure why or how many were but she did see other wowman up there with pocket books. The escorts up there would not let her go back to the security tent to get money. When she complained about other wowman with pocket books and that she did not have any $$. They comped them with free drinks for her aggravation. She did tell me the pocket book story after the show but never mentioned that was the reason for the free drinks.
(Also they were both a drunken mess at that time) I just assumed it was the same as Fenway. So once again I apologize for the conflicting stories.
