Missed that thread while I was on holiday!
Well, a Wienerschnitzel - first of all that's meat traditionally from pork but also possible with chicken or beef. To prepare it you need eggs (mix them on a plate until the white and the orange part are one), flour and bread crumbs. First you put the meat (the slimmer it is the better) in the flour until it's white on both sides. Then put it into the egg and then into the bread crumbs. The eggs are there so that the bread crumbs stick on the meat. The next thing is that you put the whole thing into a pan with oil or whatever you want to use and fry it until it gets a nice gold colour. You can serve it with -the dictionary says- cowberry jam. Sounds weird, tastes great. And potato salad or just potatoes!
Never eat it with Ketchup, that's quite a crime.
Get an Apfelstrudel or an Topfenstrudel as dessert
What Stones song is a Wienerschnitzel - I don't know
@Karl: Yeah, you can call me a Wiener. That is the right word for someone who comes from Vienna. Just don't call me a Weiner.
