Wienerschnitzel,

What Stones-songs can be described as Wienerschnitzels?

You can't always get what you want. Semi frozen, that is.

LOL. This is crackin me up. One time a long time ago I was in Amstedam with some friends. We were tripping on LSD. And you know how it is...one of the guys kept leaning into this other guys face (who was from Austria) and saying "You are Strudel, man. Sssschhhtrrruuu-dell! I tellya..." HAHA! I could not stop laughing. LA, that's what this reminds me of. I think "Blinded by Love" would make a tasty entree. With some Bratkartoffeln.
Jumping Jack Flash might be icecold Vodka on icecubes with a Lime. I think "Gomper" would be a salad.
I just deleted a bunch of stuff before posting. It got too weird. I had thought up all these tunes and what kind of food they wqould be. I must go to sleep now.

Flip the Schnitz

Wiener also translates to Viennese. So can we call Lorenz a "Wiener"?

Its like a hamburger; what´s the story behind that?

A "parisare" ( ~parisienne, Pariser) in Swedish is a thick fried
sausage, served as a hamburger. Peculiar.

parisare = "Suck on the Jugular", or "Sweet Thing" of Wandering Spirit. Phat songs!
"If you let me", "Sittin on a fence" = skinny songs
"Child of the Moon", "All About You", = wet songs
"Surpise Surprise", "High and Dry", "Mean Disposition" = dry songs

Can we then discuss Neo-Con on a Wienerschnitzel thread.

Would it be pertinent to form a subterfuge (Undercover) group, The Wienershnitzel Sect, whose real purpose is to didcuss the pros and cons of American conservatism as exemplified by the Bush administration.

Missed that thread while I was on holiday!

Well, a Wienerschnitzel - first of all that's meat traditionally from pork but also possible with chicken or beef. To prepare it you need eggs (mix them on a plate until the white and the orange part are one), flour and bread crumbs. First you put the meat (the slimmer it is the better) in the flour until it's white on both sides. Then put it into the egg and then into the bread crumbs. The eggs are there so that the bread crumbs stick on the meat. The next thing is that you put the whole thing into a pan with oil or whatever you want to use and fry it until it gets a nice gold colour. You can serve it with -the dictionary says- cowberry jam. Sounds weird, tastes great. And potato salad or just potatoes!
Never eat it with Ketchup, that's quite a crime.

Get an Apfelstrudel or an Topfenstrudel as dessert winking smiley

What Stones song is a Wienerschnitzel - I don't know grinning smiley

@Karl: Yeah, you can call me a Wiener. That is the right word for someone who comes from Vienna. Just don't call me a Weiner.

How fitting Lorenz, I have a Schnitzel (or better a Schnitzel to be, only a thin piece of pork) lying in the fridge, waiting to be prepared. I was actually planning to making a Wienerschnitzel with the eggs and breadcrums instead of just the lazy frying in oil, butter with some thyme, and now you've convinced me. Will be consumed along with some rösti. I knew the recipe thread wwas to be continued!
