I am pretty certain thst concert listed for Katowice in 1976 never took place because I was in Poland for the concert in nearby Chorzow in 1998 and the media repeated over and over that it was their 1st show in Poland since April 1967 ( at the Sala Kongresowa in Warsaw).

Speaking of which, they need to cobble together something to represent the '66 and '67 live Stones.

Both nights in Zagreb took place, of course (there are also lot of photos, articles, reviews, and interviews with Mick and Ronnie, some of them posted here by Voja and others). My uncle went to the second concert; "Angie" was performed on the second, but not on the first night.

As a 16 year old American, all I knew was reports I read in Circus and Creem magazines. I was thrilled when I started to hear that a live album was in the works and couldn't wait for what turned out to be the gloriously sloppy but rocking Love You Live!

"Gonna find my way to heaven ..."

But obviously there are noch French fans on this board who attended at least one of the concerts.

LOVE YOU LIVE was the nadir of the Stones to that point. (Except for the Mocambo side). Thank god they followed it up with Some Girls. They need to release a new product from that era to get the stink of LOVE YOU LIVE off their legacy. I always thought the Lets Spend The Night Together film were okay, not great, as was the mixed bag of the Still Life record. But the Blu Ray release of Hampton '81 and Leeds '82 have been a total upgrade on that era.

Who knows what they have in the way of quality Knebworth material, but maybe other concerts were filmed. It wasn't until the release of L.A. Forum '75 that most people found out the concert was professionally filmed by the Midnight Special TV crew.

The world is so different now...

I had seen the Stones in LA 1972, 1973, 1975 several times. I had heard they would tour Europe but it was impossible to find out details. These were the days when I had to go to a post office to pay a fortune to wait an hour and call back to Los Angeles.

I did the typical after-college Europe tour in 1976. It seemed that every city I went to, they had just been there - London, Paris, Zurich. Then I finally saw the Stones-in-the-Alps poster in Amsterdam, showing that they were playing that night in Vienna, but there was no way I could get there in time. Sad but three things since.

Obviously I bought the 1976 live album as soon as it came out.

I got myself a copy of that poster off eBay a few years ago. I caught a pick from Keith in Dodger Stadium that's mounted in the frame.

And I finally saw the Stones in Europe, opening show in O2 2012 thanks to a business trip..... it took 36 years, but it was easy to know about it and buy a ticket!

Zurich, Hallenstadion, June 15. 1976 :
The Meters started just in time, and then there was a long wait for the Stones. Stage annoucement at the time the Stones should have started the show: their plane just left southern France! So more waiting to do, until the intro to Honky Tonk Women startet, and wow, Keith !!!

Great memories

Yes,
I refused to leave that concert for our last train to London.
We (I and my wife) with others, slept under a tree and went the day after to the hotel in London.
Had to buy new tickets for train, due to daytickets.
Stones began to play toooooo late.
It was longest concert we've ever seen.

Which concert? Knebworth?
