RIP Lonnie Mack.

Posted this video on my fb page the night he died amidst all the Prince mourning going on in the newsfeed.

Lonnie Mack- Wham

There's a version with Stevie Ray Vaughan on youtube from 1986, but this original from 1964 is the ultimate.
The guitar solo is mind boggling not only for 1964, but even for today...and it will be forever.

edit: Here's the Lonnie/SRV version from '86. Holy cow...smokin' hot!

Whoow!
Great playing!
Thanks for this tribute.
I only knew the name of Lonnie Mack because of the Keith and Ronnie connected bootleg.

Lonnie was the guy I was listening to during the blues revival in the 80s.
