Not a sovereign country/state. It's an unincorporated territory of the United States.

Didn't they play the canal islands in 1964, or did they miss Isle Of Man?

Isle of Man is in the Irish Sea, but they played a few gigs there in Douglas back in 1964. Actually, the gig in Palace Ballroom, Douglas, on the 13th of August 1964 is one of their best documented from this era. Plenty of photographs exists. It was recorded and broadcasted on local radio, and interviews were done backstage by local TV - and some live clips from the show still exist on film. However, the show is mostly remembered for the German Shepherd dogs used by local police on stage to intimidate the youth.

Oh thanks.
Have checked the concert stats for ELVIS PRESLEY:
1380 concerts in the USA
5 concerts in Canada (1957).
Saved on passport renewal concerts but what a waste.

Lot of countries where a lot of rock bands/artists play and where the Stones never did: Venezuela, Ecuador, Paraguay, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, Taiwan, South Korea, Bulgaria...
Places where they must be more real Stones fans than in China or in Cuba...

Yes, I was about to mention Bulgaria. When a group of metal bands played there a few years ago, huge crowds showed up. Why not play there?
