Thanks, Koen.
I didn't realise Child of the Moon appeared further down in the thread.

Never really seen it in its entirety. It's kind of disturbing. And what's with Brian? He obviously wasn't there at the shoot the rest of them were at. Another reason to be pissed at him?

He was, but according to Michael Lindsay-Hogg he supposedly wandered off and got lost.

The restoration beggars the question - why is this being done now. Are the Stones finally going to release a compilation DVD/Blu-Ray of their promos?
With The Beatles having released their own promo anthology last year - maybe the Stones have finally decided that it's now or never.
Anyone know who restored this and the Jumping Jack Flash film?
Bring it on.

It's showing at Exhibitionism or, at least, part of it is. I remember seeing some of it but didn't hang around long enough to see if it appears in its entirety as I knew it's available on line. It may be just for the exhibition - who knows? It seems to me that they should have released a DVD of promos years ago now that you can see them all on the Internet.
It's hard to think that they missed out on another chance to make money from their back catalogue though...

"Michael Lindsay-Hogg was a friend of mine," says Eileen Atkins, and at the time I took part in the 'Child of the Moon" clip, he and I were about to do Elecktra on TV. I said with Michael that it might be a fresh idea to work with people not normally associated with this kind of thing. I suggested we ask Mick Jagger to play Orestes, and Michael was all for it. But then over the next couple of weeks we had second thoughts. Mick was great as a Rolling Stone, but we just couldn't see him handling Greek tregedy."
