Could someone possibly give a better explanation as to the layout of the venue.

It seems that the main area in front of the stage is fenced. Are people just going to gather on the other side of the fence?

It looks quite enclosed - by fences and trees; wondering where 500,000 are going to fit?

Any pictures showing the venue from a distance?

There's lots of photos from a distance - look back through this thread and the older Cuba thread.

The S is where it looks like the stage is - it appears to face the intersection of Santa Catalina and Primelles. The grounds are fenced in along those streets. Several hundred thousand supposedly will fit onto the grounds with the overflow on Santa Catalina, Primelles and the streets branching off of those two streets.

There was a short Periscope 8 hours ago from someone strolling along a street in Havana, explaining that there was wifi all along this street and you had to buy a card which gave you an hour's access - nothing to do with the Stones at all, but Periscopes from Cuba are not impossible

Good old Uli! What a character he is. I met him waiting outside the Stade de France show in 2014. He gave me a flier for his Stones museum in Germany. Good to see he's made the trip out there.

Just got our friend Dean Goodman's book in the mail Wednesday. Would have been perfect to start it while killing time before the show. But don't dare, might fall a sleep like I always do with books after midnight. LOL.
