Mick and Charlie have both missed a gig. Keith is the only one who's played every show.

Yep, Gazza had it as right as anyone can. Check the Rocks Off website for the full details

The Stones are said to have played their 2000th show in 2006 during the ABB Tour...
Gazza here worked hard on counting and mixing sources so it sould be reliable (maybe 1 or 2 shows more or less)

Paul Jones replaced Mick on September 8th 1962, and Micky Waller replaced Charlie on March 15th 1964.

Somebody has created an interactive map with every concert (according to Setlist.fm) the Stones played between 1963 and 2015

Wow! That's absolutely incredible. What a thing to be able to say! It must be closer to about 2050-2075 by now

Couldn't find a cancelled concerts page? (I wondered which countries they were due to perform in SA in August 1972 were scheduled).

Don't think for a second that I'm disagreeing with you as 2000+ Stones shows IS a spectacular number. However, just imagine how Yul Brenner must have felt after performing the role of the King of Siam in "The King & I" 4,625 times!
Peace,
Mr DJA

Who knows there could be someone out there whose written down every concert from day 1 with accuracy..what valuable information that would be!

I guess Bill might have a record of the gigs played until he left. Putting together the gigs after Bill left shouldn't be such a problem. So all we have to do is to get it from Bill.
