Back in Boston after a few incredible nights in Rio seeing our boys. Sat. Night -VH1 Classic has Ladies and Gentlemen the Rolling Stones - helping with the withdrawal. Great version of Love in Vain on right now. In all my 34 shows I don't think I ever got that one. Such a great tune. And LAG remains a great movie. Anybody ever catch Love in Vain live?

Yep three times with Taylor but the total buzz woulda been seein' Mr Johnson doin'.. now that woulda been rivets up the spine .....

Great song. I've seen the Stones in 78, 81, 89, 02, 05, and 06 and was only treated to LIV that first show in 78. It was great!

I feel like I have ...but I think it's from playing Ya Ya's 10 million times

Three times with MT at the Forum in '69, '72 & '73. The L&G performance is a great moment on stage for the band and this time the camera is on the right shot. Jagger is right there and characteristically appreciates the moment. Charlie's flub toward the end does not break MT's concentration. The film of that performance is a treasure.

Saw them do it at Giants Stadium in '97. A one-off (I think) on that tour, and supposedly pulled out that night because Ahmet Ertegun was backstage. I was in heaven that night and was also (pleasantly) shocked at well it held up when I heard a boot.

It's the song that originally turned me from a fan into a raving freak for the Stones...

Yes, my personal highlight oft that show. Great version,Ronnie sittin right in front of me playing that lapsteel guitar. The one and only time I could see them playing LIV live.

I was at the first show. It was incredible. I have a recording of it called LA Queenie.

For MT it was both Forum shows Nov. 8th 1969 (my 19th Birthday) and then the following month at Altamont...posted about that here a LONG time ago...and in '72 at The Long Beach Arena...Would've killed for the Palladium and Winterland on that tour....
