I have had a great day going to Copacabana beach area all afternoon.
Things went down hill again when I went for a drink in bar a few blocks from beach.
Said they were closed even though plenty of customers in the place,
Rio is really pissing me off at times wth the small bars and being quite unfriendly if you don't speak Portuguese or dont prounounce cervaza or gracias how they like it.
I have not met any u.k. People yet and very nice Brazilians have been very friendly and gracious.
So far ,probably one of the worst travel experiences in my life for meeting unfriendly locals in bars, small local restaurants and shops.
I always have a friendly attitude to everyone, but some of these arseholes running local bars take a lot of beating at being unfriendly.
Have had three bad experiences here in just a few days,and I would think that anyone who knows me would say I am easy to get on with.
I just hope Sao Paulo and Porto Alegre are going to be better for me.
I am sure they will.
Have a great time tonight and I'm getting back to my homestay place in Flamengo..........who I hasten to say are so friendly and helpful in every way.
