As mentioned earlier, Don Was is keen on making deluxe treatments of Beggars Banquet and Let It Bleed. I think it will become a reality soon.
I would be surprised. Don't ABKCO have their own people? Don Was is too close to Stones Inc., surely.

Deluxe editions are impractical. Instead of deciding which albums outtakes belong to, let alone releasing officially released material for the 15th time, they should make a Bootleg Series or an Anthology project.

could be a license to print money if its done correctly for the band, and a winner for the fans. id be keen to hear stuff as was, and if it ends up of the quality like PMS im more than happy to hear it 'completed' whatever that means..

Yes they do. So what? Apparently, it's just a case of co-orporation.
It's been said and proven by many re-releases, that there is no problem between ABKCO and Stones Inc. anymore. Remember that both parties will have to give the green light for a sixties release to happen.
For those who still are in doubt, all ABKCO releases post 1989, have been released with the Stones' own blessing.

Its not been completely plain sailing between the Stones and ABKCO since 1989.
In 2004/5 the Stones sued ABKCO regarding a dispute over royalties from the 40 Licks release. Not sure how it got resolved.
And in regards to Sticky Fingers deluxe, any material recorded prior to August 1970 (ie a lot of it) would be published by ABKCO and not the Stones own publishing arm, Promopub.

Of course. But the the post 1970-deluxes are already prepared, aren't they? Or at least GHS. That was the impression I got from the interviews, when EOMS-deluxe was published.

It was David Fricke who let the cat out of the bag in an interview with Mick, wasn't it? But only SF was mentioned back then. Mick said something like «I think SF will be the first». No mention of GHS, if memory serves..
The album cobbled with Brussels Affair would be enough, if the price is affordable, that is, imo.

I'm not sure, but I think it was Don Was, that mentioned GHS. Inclusion of Brussels would be nice (and some other show from the otur - like on SF-deluxe) - but a bonustrack cd would be easy to make. Criss Cross/Save me, Through the lonely nights would be obvious - and Brown leaves/Dancing girls etc.

And perhaps early takes of WOAF and Tops..
