OT: Springsteen book 'E Street Shuffle'

I'm looking for a book on Springsteen that focuses on the music and his band. I found 'The E Street Shuffle: The Glory Days of Bruce Springsteen and the E Street Band'. It has very mixed reviews on Amazon however. Is it any good? Or is there a better alternative?

"BRUCE" by Peter Ames Carlin is the best book, I believe, because he has many good sources including Bruce.
GoodReads website is often full of intelligent readers and that may give you
ideas on how Carlin and other Springsteen books.
