I am told that the Lima poster have got a Bolivian touch, may be with motives from a location closer to that area. Fans who travel both from all over Peru, also Bolivia and from the north of Chile will buy this poster and T-shirt. It looks great so no worries.

Lima has the worst traffic of all South America cities visited. A 9 km taxi ride from around Plaza de Armas to San Isidro took us one hour yesterday afternoon. For shorter distances it's often not worth taking a taxi, as walking can be faster.

The Stones are talk of the town more or less. Front page references in the papers and longer stories inside them. One journalist found a way to mix stones songs with the topic of political elections.

In some kiosks you can find a bootleg mp3 CD for 6 soles. It has a legit look with a bar code on the packaging. It contains 78 Stones and 20 Bowie songs. Have not listened to all of them, but seems it's all previously released official stuff. There's also a tongue sticker inside.

Lots of tickets available in many categories. They are selling them in supermarkets. My feeling is the buying power here has been overestimated and many upgrades can be expected tomorrow.

Peru is a large country. It haven't rained in the city of Lima since I arrived, the river is low, and they say it rarely rains in Lima.

In the home of Machu Picchu and the Nasca lines, they chose a Bolivian symbol. Can't wait to see the Havana t-shirt.

Have you been to stunning Machu Pichu? What an incredible place!

Yes! Mind-blowing! I spent 2 days at MP earlier this week -- I'm lucky to be alive after a climb up wayna (huayna) picchu steps in the rain: [images.travelpod.com]

How splendid, Little Queenie! I'm thrilled for you

Can anyone specify what it is about the poster that's more Bolivian? Just curious ...
I hope there'll be a second poster - there are too many amazing Peruvian motifs to have just one.

The green color makes it more Bolivian...that's the color of their national flag... The day has finally arrived... Looking forward to a great concert tonight

Great shot of Keith (in a stellar outfit!) posted 14 hours ago on the Stones' FB page. Caption: "Hanging in Lima". The pic appears magnified on this FB page: [www.facebook.com]

Which poster sure we referencing? I've only seen the woman poster and what I think is a yellow medallion.

Let me clarify the poster. My wife was born and raised in Lima, Peru. This poster represents a Peruvian woman in traditional clothing. There is absolutely nothing Bolivian about it.

Let me clarify again. Here is the confusion. The poster on this thread has the correct colors for Peru (red and white). There is another poster out there that has green on it which represents the Bolivian flag which is totally incorrect. Here is the link of the incorrect poster:

This pic was taken in Porto Alegre, not in Lima.
