it's really strange: when other band members got Covid the public got informed more or less immediately. And now they are cancelling shows due to 'illness'… (and don't even confirm who's ill)

He's been highlighting a different charity every tour stop with workers collecting contributions on the concourse. The show I saw it was for a food bank in my neighborhood. They raised over $20000 which was much needed. Nice setlist. Dirty Water!

Nice move, for sure, but with his high ticket prices, I hope he is donating too.

The incongruance between that Bruce and our now-greedy Bruce causes some of us longtime fans to wonder if he has something specific in mind for the billion dollars he's taking the heat (from me among others) for piling up, other than making his three kids a wealthy Walton or Murdoch or Johnson(& Johnson)-like dynasty of the intergenerationally grossly over-privileged. Which, the overall track record shows, isn't particularly conducive to leaving useful descendants for the world to have to tolerate.
It wouldn't surprise me if he tries to do something much more positive with his mountain of loot than just setting the stage for unattractive inheritance squabbles for a generation or two or three to come.

I recently read that Bruce's sister had a small part in Fast Times at Ridgemont High back in the early 80s. Don't think it was a speaking part.

She had one line. I don't remember it exactly but it was something like: "It's such a put-down."

Trapped seems to be the special song of the tour for markets that he really has a history with Buffalo, Boston, and Philly
I imagine Philly probably might have got Streets of Philadelphia IF it hadn’t been the first show after 3 postponements.
I felt extremely fortunate to get 27 songs and Land of Hope and Dreams in Milwaukee.
If you haven’t seen the show, it’s awfully close to perfection imo.
I would maybe change 1-2 songs out of the 25-27 setlist, which really speaks to just how stellar of a selection and show it is imo.
Highly recommend catching at least once if you can (in my case only going once unless set changes substantially in 2nd half of tour or changes/carries into the US in 2024).

The first "Trapped" of the tour was in Seattle. Bruce does have good history here. We also got "Land of Hope & Dreams" which was very good, too.

Usually it does evolve, but Little Steven's latest tweets and interviews give the impression they want to "tell a story" with this setlist.
