OT: Mesa Boogie Tremoverb combo

Hi,

I'm selling my Fender Jaguar American Vintage 62 3 colour sunburst and now somebody is offering me a Mesa Boogie Tremoverb Combo in return. I've never heard of that amp. Does anybody have any experiences with that amp?

Obvioulsy I'm looking for a classic rock sound.

Thanks!

Slowride

Peter Buck of R.E.M. used one on their "Monster" album.

Check out "Crush With Eyeliner" for the heavy Tremolo/overdrive sound.

What amps do you already have?

Great cleans, that lean toward Fender cleans. A lot of gain on tap. Built like a tank and very loud.

Ask them if you can try it out to see (hear) what it sounds like.

If your guitar is in great condition, I'd expect your guitar to be the higher trade value. Id have them trade the amp +$.

Not my video. grinning smiley This will give you an idea.

Thanks all, I have a fender vibrolux combo, Vox AC-30 Head, Mesa Boogie MKII combo. I don't need to sell my guitar, so I'll probably not do it :-)

Dandie, do you own one?

I have come to dislike the heavy saturation of the Boogie lead channels.

I have been playing a princeton and a small marshall on an a/b switch
