I finally got through the phonelines. Talked to some dude at the station and asked if the broadcast tonight would be the full show or what. He said he didnt know but was supposed to findout within the next 30 minutes and that it would likely be mentioned on the air when the get confirmation regarding the broadcast.
I think its very possible that the whole thing will be broadcast. If that happens then the worst we have to worry about would be interuptions for commercials, also unlikely IMHO. Only time will tell.
Someone was asking what time its at, its definately at 9:30pm Eastern time zone. So look on your map, find the time zone difference and bam, you got the time of the show in your area. Not that hard.
I've been recording for atleast 30 mins just for the hell of it and it hasnt taken more than 5megs. lol You'll have enough space. I just hope someone up in Toronto can get a good solid FM recording of it. I have a killer antenae (however the hell you spell that) and wish they were broadcasting it here in town.
2 hours to open the cage and let the tigers out uuuaaaarrrghghhh

what to they have to lose? credibility
they havent played live in two years. The whole point of a pre-tour rehearsal is to iron out the cobwebs - not show the world how rusty and nervous they are for a whole hour or 90 minutes (which they probably WILL be, in all fairness)
Ross and T&A have it right on. Its not in their style to play it anything other than 'safe' with a full live broadcast of a rehearsal
Q107 is probably going to broadcast the MSG NY 2003 concert at 9:30 pm tonight. They said the same bullshit before Sars Stock and actually broadcasted the last 4 songs of the show and half of the the NY Gardens show. I really hope they broadcast the show live tonight and that I am wrong cause I want to hang out down there but be prepared to listen to the Gardens show 2003

yeah your right it probably is a little nerve-racking that first show
...as I was saying, they're intentionally vague so we'll all listen to the adverts until we find out at 2130 Eastern Daylight Time that it's Ya-ya's or some bullsh!t.
If indeed it IS a live broadcast from the club gig I'll be gobsmacked. After all, when was the last time the Stones gave it away? ALTAMONT
"The wonder of Jimi Hendrix was that he could stand up at all he was so pumped full of drugs." Patsy, Patsy Stone
So we'll get the openner and thats it. After the first tune of the show some DJ will come on... "Wasnt that great folks! Now that all those lucky fans are watching the Stones play live in a club, lets listen to the same recordings you have at home for the next two hours!"
Has anybody managed to get a straight answer from the station? I really think they're suckering us in to listen. I mean, the lure of free streaming concert from the Stones definitely has me excited!
Really, who cares if it's not 'perfect' except Mick? If they're sloppy and spirited, like Philly '81, we'll all have a hard time getting to sleep (if the live broadcast happens).
This is the first time I've been jacked about a Stones concert in 30 years!!!
And Schuine's by the sea by the sea by the beautiful sea....

Its all bullshit, the guy on the radio just said, "if you go to the show call us to tell us how it was" That means the are not broadcasting anything live, I feel sorry for anyone who is up late for all this.

Hey guys - I've been hanging around here for quite some time, but it's the first time I've posted. What an exciting time - I drove past the Phoenix twice today and just felt sick I couldn't get in. I stopped by the Q107 truck and asked if they were broadcasting the actual concert - they wouldn't (or couldn't) say. Anyway, I have Q plugged directly into Cool Edit on my computer - great strong signal - so if it does happen, I'll get it as a wav file which I can then convert to whatever people want. I guess we'll know in 45!! Long Live the Stones.
