Here in Sweden, it was not common for new album to be sealed. If you found one it was American editions, and re-issues.

I recall reading somewhere long ago that keeping records sealed in shrink wrap is not the best idea for preserving vinyl...any truth?

I bought a sealed copy of 12X5 at a little record store in Nanaimo on Monday. It was $50, but well worth it. I mean, I know $50 is dirt cheap compared to some sealed stones albums. 12X5 is hardly a rare find, too

I have both Sticky Fingers and Some Girls MFSL on vinyl still sealed. And they told me I was crazy when I bought them on clearance that "CD's are the future".

Try to find FIRST pressing from the sixties

How do you really know if it is a original sealed and not a re-sealed item!

Try to find FIRST pressing from the sixties

Here in Sweden, it was not common for new album to be sealed. If you found one it was American editions, and re-issues.
I Think I have only 'Sucking in the Seventies' sealed as I remember....

I 've seen album sealing machines at dealers stores, record fairs, etc. You could buy any old rubbish dressed up as 'factory sealed ' and you will never know unless you open it and then......
