Not being rude about Keith, I mean the song Still a Fool! I'm new here (hence the name) I guess most people know about Keith's appearance on Hubert Sumlin's new CD. I just listened to the song (complete) at

It's excellent so I've just ordered it.

The same song is also called "Catfish Blues". Isn't it a Muddy Waters-tune?

the whole album is excellent.
and Keith sure is in a freakin fine swamp-trance on Still a Fool
(which is indeed a Muddy Waters number).

The album is great, and Hubert and David Johansen showed a great performance here in Norway last friday. They also played on thursday, but I only got to see the friday-show. Hubert was excellent as well as David Jo´s voice suits the Howlin Wolf stuff very nice.

There's a GREAT version of Still A Fool (Yes - Muddy) on the bootleg "The Black Box".

I hacve also seen this song referred to as "Two Train Blues". Whatever you call it, it's classic! The Stones version from the Olympic studios sessions in '68 is one of my all-time favorite outtakes!

That's my favourite blues from the Stones. Quite a decent live version at the Paradiso in '95 too.

Mick also recorded a version with The Red Devils during the Wandering Spirit sessions which has been heavily bootlegged. The version from the Beggars Banquet sessions deserves official release.

Mick did four takes with the Devils, only two available on boot.
