her royal majesty is a Beatles fan .Check out who knighted Mick ?It was not her royal majesty it was Prince Charles upon the recomendation of then Prime Minister Tony Blair (who by the way is a huge fan of the Stones)(she was busy with a medical procedure at the time )

On a somewhat related note, when I did the tourist thing a couple months ago and visited Buckingham Palas for the changing of the guard, the marching bands played about 4 Beatles songs and 4 Queen songs.
Do they ever mix it up with music from other bands such as the Who, Led Zeppelin or the Stones?????
