Munich's stadium?

Just heard on the TV that Bayern won his first play vs M'Gladbach.
The guy said it was the first match in the Allianz Stadium?
Is it a new stadium or a new name for the old Olympic stadium?

It's a completely new stadium, built for football only with a smaller capacity than the Olympiastadion and with many VIP Lounges and such a crap.

It's a new stadium. A very impressive one:

Scroll down and you will see that the whole facade can be illuminated.

Olympic Stadium will be for other events like Stones concerts.

Btw: The Olympiastadion is a 1000 times more beautiful than that
new unknown flying object.

I think the old Olympia Stadion is one of the most beautiful there is. Bright and open it always had good footage from games. Also great things happened there: Holland won the European Cup in 1988.

Although in appearance still as modern as in 1972, of course the open structure, the relative large distance from seats to field, and the lack of a moving roof (which would prevent the pussies from getting wet) makes it a little dated for soccer. But I would love to see a concert there once.

I went to Munich four years ago and I love it, as I love all of Germany.

Pity they meanwhile banned the classic S-Bahn ET420:
