On a black stage, out step Mick, Keith, and Ronnie under a single spot light.
"Out of Tears," with maybe Mick on piano and Keith and Ronnie on acoustic guitars.
Photo montage of Charlie on the big screens.

i forgive a lot from them but if they can't even make a remark about charlie during there first show with out him after his death that would truly be the lowest they have ever sunk

How could they honor Charlie on this upcoming tour? That's a question constantly going through my mind. Of course they'll have to change the set list. It will be interesting to see, what they will come up with.
After the intro, I'd imagine something like maybe putting a picture of Charlie on all 4 screens with black background, and Keith walking on stage starting
1. If You Can't Rock Me
then moving into the 2nd and 3rd songs
2. It's Only Rock'n'Roll
3. Tumbling Dice
then, a slow one that would maybe fit
4. Waiting On A Friend
they will probably also want to play their new song pretty early in the set
5. Living In A Ghost Town
no b-stage, I can't imagine the Stones without Charlie walking down there
6. vote song
7. You Can't Always Get What You Want
something emotional could be played in here again. you're just a memory ...
8. Memory Motel
followed by some well known songs
9. Miss You
10. Honky Tonk Woman
now Mick says a few things about Charlie, then introducing the band
11. Slipping Away
12. Little T&A
This section will be interesting, as I don't know if they'd like to play Midnight Rambler without Charlie. They could rahter play another 10min song where many different solos (Mick on harmonica, Karl Denson on Sax, Ronnie on guitar) can try to hide Charlies absense.
13. Can't You Hear Me Knocking
and now they can play the home run
14. Start Me Up
15. Street Fighting Man
16. Paint It Black
17. Sympathy For The Devil
18. Jumping Jack Flash
19. Brown Sugar
off stage
20. Gimme Shelter
21. Satisfaction

Many of the songs I'd love to hear are 4 chord wonders from the 60's...not hard to master...like " Connection" or " She Smiled Sweetly"..or even " 2000 Light Years From Home " which they opened with YEARS AGO! ( maybe not as easy as some others) My question is why rehearse so many songs and end up with basically the same 17 tunes plus the 2 or 3 changes per show.

When did they ever open a show with "2000 Light Years From Home"?

Charlie is gone, Bill is retired, Keith and Sir Michael are closing in on 80 - Does the setlist really matter anymore? Play anything, that is good enough for me now.
