They'll do a new video, before a new album, that features Mick bragging about how many trucks blah blah blah like he did on THE BIGGEST BANG after the brilliant FOUR FLICKS, making FOUR FLICKS even that much better and TBB even worser than it was already...

In the facebook page, about Stonesism:

Well, what can a poor boy do
Cept to sing for a rock 'n' roll band
Cause in sleepy LONDON town
There's just no place for a Street Fighting Man

Good news i guess

You mean the emphasis on "London"?

Museum actually makes sense with that hashtag. I'd prefer a gig a thousand times.

Maybe Stonesism is the name of a new Stones Music Festival

I remember Jagger visited the ABBA Museum last year.
Maybe STONESISM is an ongoing multi-media museum.

BST is almost now

Well, if it's BST, that underlines the British connection. 75 more minutes.

And this picture does imply something outdoors. More likely a conceet than museum.

Does the ISM part stand for "In South aMerica"? winking smiley

Re: Stonesism

Hmm, the concert idea doesn't really convince me, yet, why give a Concert a special name? If they were to play in UK maybe it's a string of little gigs, but that doesn't strike me as very likely.

A Museum maybe more like it, given both a possible location in London as well as the whole name of it.

Also, Stonesism was advertised with memorable lyric-snippets, maybe it is a website that contains all stones lyrics, produces nice Stones-related quotes, if you search for any Stones lyrci about 'love' or 'rock' or whatever.

I always hope for a new album, but that doesn't seem probable at this point, although I would be delighted to be proven otherwise..

OTOH, the timing of this "announcement" or whatever it is, doesn't make sense if this is related to South America.

Rolling Stones announce Saatchi Gallery exhibition

'Exhibitionism' comes to London in April 2016.

The Rolling Stones have announced that they will stage their first ever major exhibition at London's prestigious Saatchi Gallery, opening to the public on 6 April 2016 until September 2016.

The exhibition will feature over five hundred original Stones artefacts taking over nine themed galleries spread across two floors, offering a unique insight into the world's biggest band.

You'll be able to see some of the Stones' rare instruments and iconic costumes. There'll be personal diaries as well as poster and album cover artwork.

At the heart of the exhibition is of course the Stones' musical heritage that took the group from being a hard working London blues band in the early 1960s to becoming inspirational cultural icons adored by millions.

Mick Jagger commented, "We've been thinking about this for quite a long time but we wanted it to be just right and on a large scale. The process has been like planning our touring concert productions and I think that right now it's an interesting time to do it."

Keith Richards added, "While this is about The Rolling Stones, it's not necessarily only just about the members of the band. It's also about all the paraphernalia and technology associated with a group like us, and it's this, as well as the instruments that have passed through our hands over the years, that should make the exhibition really interesting."
