It was ten bucks cheaper than Hot Rocks with more songs and a wider array of time periods. Perhaps someone in the ABKCO didn't want the continued competition. Be that as it may, GRRR! pretty much replaced 40 Licks.

Although I can not say for a fact I believe that was a second pressing. Why they would put that on the album makes no sense to me but whatever.
