I've been checking it out today since the stones saying they will be on and it seems pretty cool. I'm going to plan on doing some stuff from the shows I hit. If anyone is interested in checking out live stuff from the lot and what not please add me. @sfacemelt. Please also post your twitter in this thread if you plan on doing any '"broadcasting" from the shows so I can follow you.

I installed the app on my iPad and the videos are pretty low-res and all in portrait format ? Well better than nothing I suppose.

I'm not looking to stream full songs in the show, etc... more so of just pre-show gathering, interviewing fans at the show from the lot, outside the gates, inside, walking the hallways druing the show, stage set up, just a general feeling of being at the show. thought if we get a bunch of people here to do it that it would be pretty cool

Yeah that would be great, I tried doing that for the audio part using Spreaker at the Hyde Park shows but the cell networks were just totally overloaded.

Maybe the app works better on an i.Phone but on an i.Pad it looks odd in portrait format.

My iPad just whistled at me and their feed is live, BS music and a view of a bilboard with 90028. Looks like it's a prerecorded clip but it bodes well for the Fonda show! Guess I'm gonna have to wake up at 5AM, hehe...

Darn portrait mode though, really looks odd on an iPad.

I wrote periscope and they just sent: "Thanks for writing in! You can use our web viewer to watch live broadcasts. Search "LIVE on #Periscope", click on the link and you'll be able watch any live broadcast in a browser."

I'm watching live on my pc right now...No Stones though that I can see

Just a short clip of someone walking along aparently.

They were testing their feed from Hollywood to see if they could handle capacity. it will probably crash tonight. They have said they will broadcast from the venue, but have not said if they are showing the concert. It could just be a teaser where they show the opening song, then fade out. The Stones want you to buy this DVD remember!

The show is scheduled to start at 8pm, but it'll be late with all the logistics issues going on. Don't expect more than 12 or 13 songs. They only do 19 in a full concert these days.

Downloaded and prepared on my iPad.

I'm getting my 4 hour beauty sleep now and I'm getting ready for the show.

PS: Expectations are low...

I clicked the link and it said "direct" but no video...then about 30 seconds later it said it was finished. maybe there is a limit to how many people can be on at a time... this makes me very anxious for showtime

Periscope just showed people picking up the tickets - and what's more getting a REFUND???? for what they paid!! The guy was told the band wants the show to be on them

The girl doing the periscoping is young and British. Wonder if it's Charlotte Watts?

...aaand it's gone again. If they don't stream more than a few seconds this will get more annoying than the little twitter snippets.
