It has been years since reading Life. I do remember him mentioning his teeth. But did he go into detail, like if they were implants, crowns, etc? From what I remember, he didn't go into much detail.

No, he didn't. He did write something about Bobby "blowing his teeth" out on stage, though smiling smiley

Seems like I read in Rolling Stone magazine in 1975 that in late 74 early 75 he got full dental implants which was a fairly new thing in dentistry back then. They referred to them as Keith's new choppers

Hey all. I just had a question; does anyone know the stor

he was a drug addict. his teeth went bad. he got them fixed. is there any more to it than that?

I heard he used Pronamel and it all cleared up on its own.

I heard Liquid Air ran out of Nitrous Oxide several times during the procedures.

Keith wrote in LIFE about how he was scarred for life by the horrible dentists he endured as a child. He said the experience basically gave him a phobia about going to the dentist. So his teeth problems pre-dated his worst drug period. From what he wrote, I got the sense that he didn't bother much with dental hygiene for most of his life.

Time for dental professionals to chime in with their opinions.
