Honky Tonk Women had at least been a comparison.

I'm may not agree with him but at least the Organ solo is the absolute highlight of Sticky Fingers.

Moonlight Mile is a very cliché song which is a bit more popular than it should be on this board. Also, MM doesn't work in concert at all, which YCAGWYW does.

In total agreement on every choice. Let It Bleed pound for pound is the best Stones album.

I will hold Exile close to my heart forever and its the best party album of all time but Let It Bleed has an intensity that burns deeply.

Any album with Gimme Shelter, Midnight Rambler, You Got The Silver, Monkey Man and You Can't Always Get What You Want is hard to beat.

I think you've given Sticky Fingers short shrift here...as good as Live With Me is, CYHMK is probably an all time top twenty stones track...LWM doesn't crack their top ten. To say Wild Horses is overrated is fine, that's your opinion, but to say Country Honk is therefore better, is just punishing Wild Horses for no good reason.

Agreed, I'm getting tired of hearing about how good MM is all the time, since there are like 50 other better Stones songs.

If they play MM on this tour I can almost assure you it will sound weak.
I mean if they couldn't pull off a good Silver Train (which is not a very complex song), how on earth will MM sound?...

Actually Mile is cliche and I never like it a first but theres something about the production and feel and musicianship. The riff is childish but thats ok. Mick sings MM well.

what hasnt been factored in is that one song could thrash another while 2 songs could be tight and the winner only just gets it. so you cant really compare the 2 doing it this way. its a bit like tennis scoring. one player could win 3 sets 7-6 7-6 7-6 but lose 1 set 0-6, and have an overall win of 3 sets to 1, but having actually won the match with 21 games won and 24 lost.

also couldnt the songs be mixed and matched so as one song dosent always have to be compared with a particular rival.

my opinion is let it bleed is better than sticky fingers but not by much, theya re both great.

Treacle, I refuse to participate in this one. Both records are too good to be bantered about in a death match. It's like being forced to pick between your children.

I prefer Sticky Fingers because there is more versatility in the guitar department. But I like LIB as well. To me it's as simple as that.
