Did anyone see this:

in Japan you also get Brussels Affair with this release!!

Including on LP in the Ward Super deluxe box!! Wow! That's the one to go for!

Indeed Japan will get a very special release, at least it seems like that:

[wardrecords.com]

Anyone can translate this, please?

They don't ship abroad. Why is it just Japan with an offering like this, I'd like an affordable opportunity to own the Brussels Affair vinyl as well.

Anyone can translate this, please?

1. Marquee show on Blu-ray
2. Marquee show on CD
3. Marquee show on vinyl LP - cut from 96kHz/24bit master
4. Bonus vinyl LP - cut from 96kHz/24bit master
5. Brussels 1973 CD's (2 CD's)
6. Brussels 1973 3 LP's - cut from 96kHz/24bit master
7. Two 1973 Europa tour full size posters

~225$ for the whole thing (which is even not that expensive for a blu-ray disc, 3 CD's, 5 vinyl discs and 2 posters!)

Just 210 Euros, I believe. Quite affordable.

It seems that most will stick to downloaded 9 Euros flac files for awhile.

stop that bloody, useless and pointless noodling!!! It's goddamn awful! Take Dead Flowers: how many times can you play that same pentatonic lick with those dreadful hammer-ons over and over? The double stop country bend is great, but not 34 times in the same song!

Mathijs

thumbs up but I'll buy the BR title anyway!

by the way - did anybody notice that the poster is for the 1973 show in Berlin, not Brussels!

That's what I thought when I saw the price. They could easily sell it at a higher price only for Brussels LP's...

Thanks for this translation, this content is simply amazing and for me a "must have"!

I know there are some rather complicated ways to order this stuff from wardrecords to europe, but this time, I hope I will find a japanese (girl-)friend wo will buy this for me ... for sure with compensation four outlay! Anyone interested? smileys with beer

For 83 euros, you can have the Marquee on Blue-Ray + CD + Brussel on 2CD...

[translate.googleusercontent.com]

I think I'll go for this one.
Japan is collectors paradise.

Normal retail for a new blu-ray would be about 20 euros, 15 euros for 1 cd, and at highest 20 euros for a double-cd. That's is 55 euros, so I think 83 euros is a bit to expensive for this set...

I think I will buy the separate Marquee Blu-ray, and maybe the cd release also.

Never understood why they had to have Brussels on 2 CD's... The show is 79 min. long and could fit easely on one CD.

Marquee + Brussels special edition is available on CDJapan too : [www.cdjapan.co.jp]

It may be easier to order from them.

the japan edition is also available on amazon.jp

But remember: ordering form Japan means that you'll have to pay custom and import taxes which can make purchases extremely expensive!! (plus usually high postage)

Is there a good reason why Japan gets this special treatment? Is Japan a big market for the Stones or is this stuff only released in Japan for some particular reason? I'd like to buy this box with Brussels CDs etc but if they can't be bothered to release it in their home country, I can live without it.

Hmmmm
Are those Japan only products or we can expect the same for the ROW?

Kind of funny to put a complete 'Brussels holy cow' for Japan only. One or two extra tracks - that's OK but not 2 CDs.

My point is that you are paying 3x the price of a normal cd just because that Brussels cd is not released in any other way. Compare it to if Stones would release a new studio album, and the cd version would cost 100 Euros, the diehard fans would still buy it, just to have that cd in their collection, but it would be a disgusting thing to do.

Some people still paying $50 and more for No.2 [P25L-25033]. And I am not talking about P33L-25015 with OBI winking smiley

With your reasoning you never buy anything.
Considering until now the only way to get this CD was to buy a box at around 500 euros, the deal is fair.

By restricting supply to just one market, they effectively take advantage of the good will of hardcore fans. I can't see how this can be described as fair? It's anti-competitive and obviously inflates the price.

I see no reason that Brussel will not be released in the big markets Europe and USA. Question of time.
