They should drop every song from the last 5 tours and go full on
ONLY REGGAE MUSIC... bring in a full contingent of players and singers
from Jamaica and do 30-40 minute versions of the best reggae songs.
Welcome to jamaica have a nice day. Irie

Don't worry. The second half of the show will be the same warhorse bonanza as always. Don't change a winning concept.
They might change 2-3 songs in the first half though. That's about it. Don't ask for more.

drop Gimme Shelter (lisa can't sing anymore)...Doom and Gloom (we've heard it enough now), IORR (unless they take lisa gospel backups from under the stage its gotta go,) Can't Be Seen (nothing needs to be said here,) Out Of Control (last years versions don't compare to previous tours,)and Tumbling Dice (mick doesn't sing it, he races through it nowadays)......Hopefully, they do the SF album, and sprinkle in the rest of the hits, with a legit web vote song in the middle.

Or even better, drop most of the songs for the previous 5 tours
and alternate genres of music each night. Do reggae night and then
do country music night playing all their great country songs along
with the greatest country hits of today and yesterday with all sorts of
country music guests and the next next night make it DISCO night... play
all of their extendo dance mixes and invite Disco stars of today and
yeasterday... and then have a slow mopey songs night... where they play
all of their slow mopey songs like Wild Horse and Daddy yera fool to cry.

Yeah...thats the ticket... mix it all up... Do it different every night.
Forget playing all their great songs... who needs that?

Sympathy For The Devil, for god's sake. There's not mystery, no nothing, no surprise when they play it. Another question is when is the last time they didn't ram it down our throats?

10,000-15,000 people, right? It just wouldnt work, right?

'Under the Boardwalk' with Aaron Neville went down very well in 2013...Well, either that, or it was great hearing a cover!

Glad someone agrees with me on that. I don't even like Florence and the Machine but I thought she did a great job...much better than Lady Gaga imo
Would be welcome to hearing As Tears Go By again as long as it's not featuring Taylor Swift

I would be very happy if they swapped You can't Always Get for Moonlight Mile (with a string section) as a standard encore for the upcoming US dates in honor of the Sticky Fingers re-release.

Ya know, I was eyeballing the SF tracks...
Side one
No. Title Length
1. "Brown Sugar" 3:48
2. "Sway" 3:50
3. "Wild Horses" 5:42
4. "Can't You Hear Me Knocking" 7:14
5. "You Gotta Move" 2:32
Side two
No. Title Length
6. "Bitch" 3:38
7. "I Got the Blues" 3:54
8. "Sister Morphine" 5:31
9. "Dead Flowers" 4:03
10. "Moonlight Mile" 5:56

And I bet Mister Mick only choses 1,2,3,4,6,9 and maybe 8 to play

Of course I would be delighted with the album played as is, straight through, actually twice in a row would be fun to see (just like (my) real life sometimes)(who hasnt played that SF back to back, at least twice?) and be delighted with it live... but I bet Mister Mick only goes with 1,2,3,4,6,9 and I doubt even Mister Mick would play Moonlight Mile live withOUT whats-his-name.

I don't think we will be hearing ONE MORE SHOT this time around! DOOM & GLOOM may disappear too. EMOTIONAL RESCUE went from being never played to becoming a war house so I hope they let that one go, its been done enough. We can do without any "cover tunes" just play Stones originals instead. YOU GOT ME ROCKING could be replaced.

While you're eyeballing the Sticky Fingers tracks you should get a good look at the musicians who played them. His Name is MICK TAYLOR bro. Full fledged member of The Rolling Stones during the making of Sticky Fingers. But you can call him Mr. Taylor sir out of your deep respect and admiration of the man...like you would if he was in the same room as you. He would probably even be nice enough to remember your name if you were ever introduced, I hear he's that kind of guy.

As far as Moonlight Mile goes, barring any disasters in rehearsal there's no way they are going to skip it. Not only does Mick play excellent guitar on this one, it is one of the standout tracks on the record, they've played it live before without MICK TAYLOR and if they were truly worried about playing any part of the record without him they wouldn't be calling the tour Zip Code Tour and announcing he wasn't going to be present.

peace

At some point they should (although we are pretty late in the game now to) start embracing the good new songs they have written and keep them is the set lists from tour to tour as opposed to trash canning them after the given tour is over.

If they had done this all along the way people would not always be complaining about "the warhouses" because they would have 30-40 war horses and they could scatter them across shows to the point where people would say "HELL YEH THEY PLAYED GIMME SHELTER LAST NIGHT"... versus playing it and the other 6-7 warhorse at every show.

Saint of Me, Rip this Joint, Rough Justice, Doom and Gloom, Monkey Man, Heart Breaker Get off of my cloud, Out Of Control, The last time, 19th nervouse breakdown, Have You Seen Your Mother, Baby, Standing in the Shadow?, Let it Bleed, Mothers little helper, Street Fightin Man, Ruby Tuesday, Lets spend the night together and many more might qualify in this category. So I dont understand why anyone is saying dump Doom and Gloom so fast.

Your obvious lack of respect for an ex-member of the Stones is just getting old. You may not like the guy or people who do but it's your choice to continue to post disrespectful stuff. I think we got the idea when you joined the discussion on the Mick Taylor thread.
