Some cool posters, no pun intended. I especially like the one with the cowboy in Arizona. What's that you say? The Stones didn't play in Arizona. Oh my, somebody goofed. The saguaro cactus - the ones with arms - are native to the Sonoran Desert which covers part of Arizona and northern Mexico. If there are saguaros in Texas than somebody rustled them from here and planted them there. And it just dawns on me, there's two other icons associated with the American southwest the Stones could've used for a poster - Wile E. Coyote and the Roadrunner. How cool would that be?

The motif works imho better on the T-Shirts, especially the yellow one: [www.iorr.org] .

Man, I like that shirt too. I can't really bring myself to buy a poster/shirt from a show I didn't attend though. Maybe I should just attend?

I like this new one for Atlanta - nice perspective - not sure about the same design on the shirt though...seems to lose something.

Least favorite - Dallas.
Best so far - San Diego.

At least this first released poster from Atlanta has something very specific to do with the area and actual location of the concert and it seems appropriate that the marching band from the school where the college where the show is being played is marching in the form of the tongue. That works fine. I also like the BOLD "THE ROLLING STONES" blaring at the top, it looks good. The IORR scoreboard is also a nice touch along with the school name on the field. I think the artist did good work on this one and Mick did a good job picking it. I imagine it will sell very very well.

LIKE it

The scoreboard is actually a picture of the one in
München 1982, believe it or not.

The legendary Fritz Rau up front:

Royal Hue, I'm a poster collector, music and film related, and have enjoyed the posters on the last couple tours. If you don't mind sharing; which posters did you design?

The Atlanta design is interesting in that it is a 360 degree departure from the
previous posters. I would not want to see it repeated on the remaining dates though.

I really like the yellow shirt design, looks better than the black.

I designed the Berlin, Rome (Bocca Verita version), Dusseldorf, Pink Pop Festival, and Adelaide Posters/Tees for last year's 14 on Fire Tour. I've yet to have one chosen for the Zipcode Tour.

they probably just used it because the outline of saguaros are the ones that signify "cactus"-otherwise it may have looked like a prop from the 75 tour.

the cowboy lighting a smoke on the trail was one of the best ones to me,i dont know why there were so many odd reactions to it.

someone said a brokeback mountain movie poster-but there's only one dude[ maybe he was picturing himself in there too]and someone said he was taking a leak[it couldnt have been a guy who said THAT!].

AT&T stadium is the home of the dallas cowboys and fort worth has actual cowboys so it seemed like a cool idea to me.

Being Charie Watts Junior obviously comes with advantages. It's not bad, but not very good either.
