Wednesday Night may not be the best for me but 5 days after my birthday and 170 miles from my house... I'm thinking that I'm going to be in Nashville on June 17th.

My understanding is that April 8 is the AMEX presale for all gigs. I am sure we'll hear more info as things move forward.

I'll be doing this one, hopefully. As of right now, only some shows are listing presales, though, and this isn't one. Would be nice if it turned out to be all shows.

I booked a cheap hotel for the show in Nashville. Anyone know if Holiday Motor Lodge is within walkingdistance of the stadium?

The only Holiday Motor Lodge I can find is in Nashville, Arkansas.

There is a Knights Inn between 1/2 to 1 mile of LP Field that could conceivably be walked to in the $60 range. It's not in the best area but there would probably be other fans doing the same thing. I doubt it is very nice but I booked it in case I decide not to drive three hours home after the show.

Rebooked to the "right" Nashville

Any thoughts on the venue from folks who have attended in the past? How are the acoustics? Any areas to beware of? Is there a cool place nearby for a pre/post-show party?

I have only been there for Titans. But, the CMA Music Festival is held there every year and there have been a few additional concerts so there should be some local knowledge on how to get good sound at LP Field.

You can check a downtown map for more info but there are dozens of options for food and drink within walking distance of LP Field. You will want to zero in on the few blocks directly across the river that intersect with Broadway. There are standard chains like Hard Rock, Hooters, Joe's Crab Shack and good local options like Demo's and a host of bars, mostly country, but some rock, too. There is also the Printer's Alley block of clubs. And there are some historical landmarks like the Ryman Auditorium and attractions like the Country Music Hall Of Fame next to Bridgestone Arena.

TM now listing price range as "US $75.15 - US $368.30".

No Amex presale listed on Ticketmaster. I suggest signing up for AXS reminders, they might specify closer to the time if this is an Amex sale or if there is a code--as of right now, there's no further details other than the presale time. Same applies to the Dallas show, which I'm also after.

Wouldn't hurt to check TM on the 8th, though, just in case.

I expect we'll hear more information this coming week. I plan on calling LP Field Monday regardless.

So according to that, there IS an Amex presale Wednesday. (But not according to the Amex site, so I dunno. Way too many entities involved here.)

Still no presale information on TM. Maybe because Nashville is Music City they are giving away thousands of tickets to industry insiders and expect an easy sellout. My son works in Nashville and his company on Music Row is already assured tickets. Could be political because the Mayor was bragging about The Stones in the press.

No, I think it's because AXS is primarily handling ticket sales. (If you go to the justakissaway site, you'll see the TM link says that "this event no longer exists in our database".)
