First, that is not Larry David.
Second, Bill Prince at the Telegraph wrote a few nice pieces awhile back about Mick, Keith and Ronnie wearing Nike trainers on stage.
Third, Mick looks ready as usual.
Fourth, a question: seems to be leaving an hotel, thought Mick still had a place in NYC? Truck on Merc is open for luggage so it's not just a meeting.

I thought he got rid of his place in NYC....(or maybe he's renting it out to one of his kids)

??? I don't see a Mercury, but I do see a Mercedes-Benz (MB )

The Stones need a shoe adviser.

I have some Nikes similar to those...
They look like regular Nikes, much better than those big, bulky, high-rise orthopedic black ones he usually wears that make him look like Gumby.

I think it's still to cold to ride a flatbed truck down 5th Avenue! Mick looked great, yes, very youthful. I really can't see a Stones tour that does not include a NYC/Brooklyn stop!!! What do you think, BV?

When I wrote Merc I meant Mercedes Benz- i just didnt writ it out. The tail light does look similar to a Beemer... Just thought he preferred Mercedes.

Mick looks great!
Keith looks great!
They will average 2 shows per week.
Their rehearsals often go about 4 hours (with one break), 5 days a week for a couple weeks.

No reason they can't give us a 2 1/2 hour show.

Hahah, yeah exactly! C'mon Mick and Keith, lock yourself in the kitchen and write some songs. smoking smiley

I like the Nike trainers. Keith wears them on occasion as well. They look a lot better than those turquoise lace up slippers that Keith has been sporting lately!
For the record I like all Keith's shoes, except the ones he wore on the last tour with the Rolling Stones logo on the tongue. Yes, even the turquoise ones look good.

Well, of course L'Wren had an apartment and around the time of her death it had been reported that Mick had aquired another.
Maybe another one to rent out.

a good lesson for everybody really-in the states its the worst.people saying things like you can/cant "get away" with wearing this or that..its like things reverted back to the 1950's.

keith had a great line about it a few years ago.he said"when i grew up everyone tried to be different, now everyone tries to be the same"

It s*cks that there is a certain pressure out there for everybody to look the same. And if you don't look like that, people believe you wouldn't be normal (read: something was wrong with you).

He looks cool for a 71 year old. Who really cares what he wears as long as he is up for touring?

Would also be nice if he was up for songwriting and producing a new Stones album, it's been a long time since 'A Bigger Bang'.
