Mick Taylor did the over-dub..Quote
RollingFreakHe's had two drummers for as far back as I could remember. Concert For Bangladesh right after the Beatles was him and Keltner. I don't know if he just couldn't do it after the Beatles, but he never seemed to drum alone ever in a live setting (and most times in the studio) after The Beatles.Quote

He's just showing he was the 2nd best drummer in The Beatles.
Good player who fit exactly in with them ...
Played for the song and rocked it. He was really good. Hope he still plays .. There's two drummers usually in what he does now

Wow, so then at the end of I Am the Walrus, John really DID say, "I buried Paul". Who knew?

Yes, it never fails to amaze me that there are still people dunderheaded enough to assert that Ringo couldn't drum. Ringo was terrific. He never played his instrument; he played the song. And go look up the times of takes in the Recording Sessions book: take 1 will be 2:34, take 2 will be 2:35, take 5 will be 2:34. The man was a clock. He anchored some of the best records ever made and there's no other drummer I know of who could have fit that band better than Mr. Starkey.
