Keef is perfect imperfection, mistakes are overwritten by moments of sheer beauty and geniushot smiley

...I'd add an 'Applause'-icon here If there'd be a thing like that; right now we'll have to do with thumbs upsmileys with beerhot smiley

I prefer that they just be themselves, mistakes and all. I don't want to see a 'perfect' band like the Eagles anymore. I want to see the Stones blemishes and all; they are real!

Absolutely - so what does anyone need a "warts only" thread for?
If the OP had requested that we post the band's beautiful fvkkups & recoveries everyone here could relate.
What the OP did request simply sounds negative and mean-spirited. Let him post his own mistakes. I'm sure they're all primo

Keith's laughing at us as we type

Nah he's exercising, muscling his arms holding a 12kg gold bar he bought with profits from the 2014 tour.
Whaddaya think? Keith's doing PT with barbell? That's for you and me! grinning smiley

Mistakes is just the beauty of live music. Thats real rocknroll. I prefer a musican who plays with his soul and heart rather than a musican who is on stage to show his fine technique and flawless playing. And when you play from how you feel the music right there and then, well then you make some mistakes.

But, the mistakes in start me up HP shows, may be in a part of a show where you don't want to make a mistake.... winking smiley

Well, let's say that if Keith out of the blue started playing as flawlessly as Mark Knopfler I'd enjoy that just as greatly. It's fine anyway, but I can't see how it would hurt!!

Don't missunderstand - I think we all Love Keef and his playing.
This thread is NOT against Keef, and if you not agree with posting some classical keef-@#$%&-ups, you can simply ignore this tread.
I often find such moments very funny, especially the reaction of the other stones.

I think it's just the language - Keith f*#! Up and recovery is fine but fail doesn't sound so affectionate - where does hitting someone over the head with his guitar come in the spectrum ?

Has anyone mentioned how Mick screws up the lyrics to most songs? Still love the Stones man. They are the greatest rock and roll band in the world now and forever!
