I got the complete 1966-68 Batman TV series on DVD. So far I've watched 8 episodes, with another 112 still to go. At this rate, it will take me until the end of February to finish it.

Santa brought me the following:
2 small espresso mugs
1 Costa Coffee coffee warmer
1 Uncle Thomas personalised mug for my coffee
1 Pair of Asics Running shoes
1 pair of Adidas Socks
1 Sonic Highways CD by The Foo Fighters
1 Greatest Hits of the Red Hot Chilli Peppers
1 pair of pyjamas
So all in all, fairly happy: the Asics, and Adidas socks, got a try out at lunchtime at the gym. One of the espresso mugs got a try out this morning, via the Nespresso machine, before hitting the road for work. The pyjamas have yet to have a try out, ditto the Sonic Highways album.
It's also my birthday on 02nd Jan, so I often get presents on my birthday. A ritual I have, since the big 4-oh, is putting September of My Years by Frank Sinatra on the cd player and meditating on the ageing process. I turn, this year, the same age as a Howlin' Wolf track, covered by Tom Jones and Jack White, and also by Eric Clapton and Wynton Marsalis
