POP Music is from the word Popular Music and 30 songs of a TOP 40 are POP music and the rest is Rock, Country, Classic!!!, of Metal ore something else The Beatles are a POP band but also made rock songs The Stones are a rock band but made a lot of POP songs...

I am quite partial to pop tunes right now. The fluffier the better. The best pop tunes, tho, are the ones that appear to be fluff but are also profound. You can take them in however you feel like at the moment. This song I saw for many years as being a little too fluffy for me, and then it struck me one day (not even listening to it) that the line "All I need it the air that I breathe/and to love you" was not as silly and puerile as I'd written it off to be. But that there are times in our lives when that's exactly how you feel...and it's a marvelous place to be. Plus, this song is just completely sublimely gorgeous.

Just don't forget to add the peanuts...
