I love those mid-60'bridges. Almost like there was some kind of code thzt the Beatles instilled in everyone. Often a shift to minor key e.g.; kind of a musical aside. Like "on the other hand, between me and you...you could look at it like this too..."

"Never get around her anymore
Dont know what my friends are for
No fun sittin all alone
But I try try try on my own"

"Still you have those happy eyes
I will try and apologize baby"

Oh and we forgot a really good one:

"Every night you've been away-ay-ay
I sat down and I have prayed that you;re safe"

Jump out of Africa with a step that looks so bold
Ah when you're kicking high, you make my blood run cold!

All pointing right down at the floor
Hey girl your suspender shows
And the girl behind you looks a bit unsure

What could possibly beat this Bridge?

I like the bridge they used for the B2B tour

"Flash of gold in your ears, child
Flash of gold in your eyes
Saw the gleam in your mouth
Saw the steel in your thighs"

I have no idea if this is right, I copied it from a lyric site. I never could understand what Mick was singing anyway, even though I wore out the grooves on the record when I bought it.

I thought it was "flashing". Otherwise it looks correct.

Great bridge anyhow smiling smiley

Everybody seems to forget about this one:

Remember the first time
You tried to do it to me
My girl won't fall
Just wait and see
Just wait and see

Congratulations

A real smooth one...

I love, I love, I love, I love, I love ya.

I love how it leads into Ronnie's solo (One More Shot)

An unlikely one maybe, but:

Set us up so they can shoot us down
Put us six feet underground
(That's just too deep for me baby!)

Almost every track on Steel Wheels has a genius middle-eight!

Shattered! Which is practically the same in Before They Make Me Run.

Instrumentally, anyway. And Out Of Tears has a nice bridge.

The sax solo/instrumental break in Coming Down Again was so good that Keith lifted it for the whole of Sleep Tonight! Which also has a nice bridge...
